Hunger is a serious issue in our community, but you can help! Food insecurity is a real experience for many locally and world wide.
Nourish the People is a nonprofit organization devoted to supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity—both in our local communities and across the world.
Our work adapts to the real needs of the people we serve: sometimes it’s providing fresh groceries, sometimes it’s helping secure safe shelter, sometimes it’s offering education, resources, or seed funding for a small micro-business to flourish.
To date, we’ve been honored to extend support throughout Oakland and other regions of California, as well as communities in Haiti and Guatemala.
Join us for a night of good food, good laughter, and big heart. 💛

We’re gathering items for our Nourish the People Online Auction—and we’d love your support.
If you feel called to give, we are gratefully accepting donated goods, services, artwork, gift cards, experiences, and more. Every contribution becomes a catalyst for generosity and helps us raise essential funds for individuals and families facing food insecurity—both locally and around the world.
Your donation doesn’t just join an auction.
It nourishes someone’s table, supports stability, and helps uplift communities in Oakland, across California, and in places like Haiti and Guatemala.
Can't make the dinner? Feel free to make a donation, straight to the foundation. Every dollar helps feed a hungry person.
